Got news to share? Sentinel newsletters are published on Monday mornings during the school year. Submit articles to the Sentinel by emailing SequoiaPTSANews@gmail.com by 5 PM on the Thursday beforehand. As space is at a premium, please keep articles concise, and consider including a link where readers can find more information. If the news is about an event, please send a photo if possible.
The following are used as guidelines for inclusion of news articles:
- Educational and community partners
- Non-profit organizations
- Events that are free of charge or have a nominal fee
- News and events connected with Sequoia students
- California State PTA non-commercial policy (http://capta.org/about/our-mission/policies/)
The Sentinel staff, together with the PTSA exec and Sequoia staff, reserve the right to make final judgments on what to include in the Sentinel. The submissions will be edited for clarity, conciseness, and relevancy.
